National Education Day CelebrationThe students of Classes II to V celebrated National Education Day on 11th November with great enthusiasm to honour Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, India’s first Education Minister and a visionary architect of modern education.
The celebration began with a special assembly presentation titled “When Maulana Abul Kalam’s Pen Came Alive.” The creative act beautifully portrayed how Maulana Azad’s pen springs to life to share his inspiring vision of education, equality, and knowledge for all. The expressive performance, combined with poetic narration, highlighted the power of learning and the importance of good values.
Adding to the spirit of the day, students from Classes II to V participated in an engaging Just-a-Minute (JAM) activity on thought-provoking topics such as Importance of Education, The Role of Teachers, Education for All, Books – Our Best Friends, and Learning is Fun. Each participant spoke with confidence, reflecting their understanding and love for learning.
The celebration served as a reminder of the true essence of education — not merely to acquire knowledge but to think critically, grow with purpose, and contribute meaningfully to society.
