As an institution committed to excellence in every area, we strictly follow the policy statements on education by the various Education Commissions set up by the Government of India. The course of studies in all the classes is designed as per CBSE norms. The school has introduced remodelled assessment structure of examination as per CBSE guidelines from April, 2017.
There will be no formal exams till class V, however regular graded assessments will take place. The student’s progress will be assessed on a continuous basis which will include tests, activities, projects etc.

Number of lessons will gradually increase from Periodic Test 1 to Periodic Test 3 and Final Exam which would prepare students to acquire confidence for appearing in the Final Examination with 100% syllabus in February/March. |

(i) | Academic planner is made available on website in April every year. It consists of tentative exam dates and open house / result date. |
(ii) | Minimum attendance required to appear in the Final Examination is 75%, as per CBSE guidelines. The name of the student will struck off from the rolls of school if he/she is absent for more than 10 days without sanction of leave from the Principal. |
(iii) | Co-scholastic subjects (Work Education, General Studies and Health & Physical Education) will be graded on the basis of continuous and comprehensive evaluation. |
(iv) | Parents are given a continuous feedback about students academic performance through Open House /scheduled meetings. Complete co-operation and home support is required to ensure that the student performs at the level required to be promoted to the next class, failing which a student may be asked to repeat the class. |
Report Card / answer sheets of Unit Tests, Half Yearly Exam and Final Examination will be given only to parents on the Open House/Result Day. A parent may collect the answer sheets and report card within a week between 9:00 am and 10:00 am from school reception in case he/she is not able to attend the Open House.
(i) | The examination will be conducted in theory as well as practical/project depending upon the nature of the subjects and the marks allotted shall be as prescribed in the CBSE curriculum. |
(ii) | The qualifying marks in each subject shall be 33%. However, in a subject involving practical/project work, a candidate must obtain 33% marks in the theory and 33% marks in the practical/project separately in addition to 33% marks in aggregate (theory and practical), in order to qualify in that subject. |
(iii) | Promotion is given on the basis of yearly academic performance. It is mandatory to obtain 33% marks in the grand total in every subject at the end of the session. |
(iv) | A student failing in one of the five subjects of examination in grand total shall be placed in Compartment (Retest) in that subject provided he/she qualifies all the subjects. |
(v) | Compartment Exam will be taken between 1st to 10th April and result will be declared before 15th April so that student attends the next higher class from 15th April onwards. |
(vi) | If a student fails in Practical, he/she will be placed in compartment only in the practical exam. |
(vii) | Any student who fails in Compartment (Retest) will have to repeat class. |
(viii) | A student failing in two or more than two subjects will have to repeat the class. |
(ix) | A student who is detained twice in the same class will be issued transfer certificate on the last date of the session. |
(x) | It is mandatory for a candidate to appear in Final Examination to be eligible to be considered for promotion to the next class. |
(xi) | A student has to appear in all the examinations to be declared passed/ promoted, except in case of medical emergency or when representing school at district, state and national level games/sports. |
(xii) | Application should be submitted to the Principal in case of sickness. The student should bring medical fitness certificate on the day the student joins the school after sickness. Medical certificate should be of a person of the rank of an Assistant Surgeon/an equivalent. |
