Independence Day Celebrations (Primary Wing)"Tiranga colours tell the story,
Of our past and present glory”.
They symbolise our unity and integrity, treat the national flag with honour and dignity”.
“Our national flag is our pride,
Let’s unfurl it worldwide”.
With these words of patriotism in mind, our young Bhawanisinghites of the Primary Section organised a week long Independence Day Celebration programme from 9th August to 15th August to mark the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' program.
It is a campaign under the aegis of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav to encourage people to bring the Tiranga home and to hoist it to mark the 75th year of India’s independence.
“Today’s children are tomorrow’s future", in order to highlight the significance of these lines, the students of Classes I and II participated in slogan writing activity on the theme 'Har Ghar Tiranga'. They also presented a beautiful assembly showcasing different freedom fighters and a vibrant dance on a patriotic song.
Students of Classes III had a character parade on freedom fighters like Mahatma Gandhi, Subhash Chandra Bose, Lala Lajpat Rai, Rani Laxmi Bai, Chandra Shekhar Azad and many more.
Students of Classes IV and V showcased their talent by participating in morning assemblies as unsung heroes which inculcated the virtue of patriotism amongst students.
Every celebration in India is as vibrant as our culture and our children of Classes IV and V sang a few patriotic songs to match the August 15 vibe.
They also prepared colourful and vibrant posters for the occasion to add more colour and thrill to make the celebrations special.
All the above activities were conducted to inculcate the feeling of patriotism in the hearts of our young students and to promote an awareness about the National Flag.
