WORLD FOOD DAY (Bubbles and Class I)Maharaja Sawai Bhawani Singh School celebrated World Food Day with great enthusiasm through a variety of fun-filled and educational activities for Bubbles and Class I. The celebration aimed to promote healthy eating habits, awareness about different foods, good table manners, and the importance of sharing and saving food.
The children of Bubbles explored the wonderful world of food through the theme "Foodtastic Adventures: Explore, Enjoy & Learn!" They participated in a lively "I Am a Food Hero – Food Parade," where they dressed up as different food items and shared their health benefits. In "My Spice Crown," children explored various spices, learning about their names, colours, aromas, and uses. The activity "Guess the Food, Know the Good!" encouraged them to identify fruits through touch and feel, while "Table Manners Magic" helped them understand the importance of good dining etiquette through role-play and demonstrations.
Class I celebrated the occasion through a fireless cooking activity titled "Little Chefs, Healthy Choices!" based on the theme "Eat Healthy, Share Food, Save Food!" The young chefs prepared a variety of healthy and delicious dishes, including rainbow fruit chaat, crunchy vegetable salad, sprouts chaat, puffed rice bhel, and chana chaat. The activity encouraged children to explore nutritious ingredients, make healthier food choices, and develop an appreciation for simple, wholesome meals.
The celebration was an enjoyable learning experience that combined creativity, practical learning, and awareness about nutrition. It reinforced the message that healthy food keeps us strong, sharing food spreads happiness, and saving food helps protect our planet.
