Sanskrit DiwasSanskrit Diwas was observed in the Middle School. Students of Classes VI – VIII gave fascinating performances through various activities. The programme began with Saraswati Vandana. The students delivered the Shiv Tandav Stotram in a powerful and lively manner. A story from Panchtantra titled ‘Durbudhi Vinashyati’was depicted through an impressive performance. They brought alive the life and works of great Sanskrit writers like Valmiki, Vedavyasa, Bhart?hari, Chanakya, Kalidas, Vishnu Sharma etc. through an effective role play. A musical presentation of the shlokas from the Geeta was presented with great enthusiasm. Information about the importance, vividness and scientific connection of Sanskrit language was explained. The program concluded with chanting of Gayatri Mantra for the prosperity and good health of all.
The entire program was informative and interesting.
