National Mathematics Day (Classes VI - VIII)On the occasion of National Mathematics Day, the Middle Section (Classes VI to VIII) celebrated the spirit of mathematics with great enthusiasm through a variety of engaging and hands-on activities that made learning joyful and meaningful. The celebrations began with Class VI students actively participating in outdoor learning, where they drew the parts of a circle on the school ground using chalk powder, gaining a clear and practical understanding of geometric concepts. They also creatively represented factor pairs on the ground, turning abstract numbers into visual learning experiences. To further enhance their mathematical thinking, an exciting Question Time House Quiz was conducted for Class VI, encouraging teamwork, quick thinking, and healthy competition. Class VII students showcased their creativity and conceptual clarity by preparing impressive 3D models, helping them visualize and understand mathematical concepts in a concrete manner. Meanwhile, Class VIII students demonstrated confidence and depth of knowledge by preparing and delivering PowerPoint presentations on various mathematical concepts, explaining them with clarity and real-life connections. To add an element of fun and challenge, mind games were organized for Class VII, sharpening their logical reasoning and problem-solving skills. The entire celebration reflected the true essence of National Mathematics Day by promoting experiential learning, collaboration, creativity, and analytical thinking. Through these well-planned activities, students not only strengthened their mathematical understanding but also developed a positive attitude towards the subject, proving that mathematics is not just about numbers, but about thinking, exploring, and enjoying learning.
