World Animal Welfare Day Celebration The students of the Primary Section (Classes IV & V) observed World Animal Welfare Day with great enthusiasm and sensitivity. The programme commenced with an introduction to the concept of animal welfare, highlighting the importance of showing care and compassion towards all living beings.
An interactive discussion was conducted on various ways to protect animals and conserve their habitats. The learners were also introduced to the topics of endangered and extinct species, which helped them understand the urgency of wildlife conservation.
To encourage creative expression, a poster-making activity was organised, wherein students artistically conveyed messages on saving animals. This was followed by impactful role-play performances that depicted the need to protect and respect animals.
The celebration concluded with a pledge, in which all students promised to contribute towards animal protection and to always act with kindness and empathy.
The observance of the day proved to be both educational and inspiring, instilling in the young learners a sense of responsibility towards animals and the environment.
