It is a wonderful way to learn various life skills and a great chance for children to flourish, run, jump, and make a mess and to explore themselves in natural surroundings. Students of Class III, enjoyed fun races like butterfly race, dress me up, make me a clown and master chef, that displayed team work and coordination. The little ones crawled, hopped and balanced a variety of props to reach the finish line. This helped them to develop their gross and fine motor skills. Sports has many benefits for children. According to a new study, sports can improve concentration and lead to a better quality of life in primary school students. Keeping this in view, students of Classes IV and V participated in various sports activities like basketball, football, handball, etc. to increase their physical strength and endurance, the ability to concentrate, and the quality of life. Children not only learnt to work in teams but also developed social skills. They cheered for their competitors and encouraged them. Kids were very enthusiastic, happy and excited. They participated with full zeal in all these activities.
