Holi Celebrations (Bubbles & Class I)The festival of Holi was celebrated with great joy and enthusiasm by the students of Bubbles and Class 1 at Maharaja Sawai Bhawani Singh School.
The children of PP-3, PP-4, and PP-5 engaged in a creative hands-on activity where they prepared eco-friendly Holi colours using arrowroot, itra (fragrance), and food colours. This activity helped them understand the importance of celebrating festivals in an environmentally responsible manner. They also participated in various age-appropriate activities related to the festival, which enhanced their creativity and deepened their understanding of the significance of Holi.
The students of Class 1 presented a short skit on the story of Holika Dahan, beautifully conveying the message of the victory of good over evil. The celebration concluded with a lively dance performance depicting the joyous Holi celebrations in Vrindavan, adding a cultural and devotional essence to the event.
The teachers also explained the importance of the festival and guided the children on how to celebrate a safe and responsible Holi—without harming animals or hurting the feelings of others.
The celebration proved to be a meaningful and enriching learning experience, helping students understand the cultural significance of Holi while promoting values of kindness, responsibility, respect, and togetherness.
